Dear you
I heard a guy telling his friend, "See that guy out there in the pink shirt? That's David --"
I didn't hear that person's last name, and i didn't know any Davids, so i thought that David was his friend, and he wasn't in my visionary range anyway. So i awaited a man in pink to enter the lobby, wanting to see how he looked like. Oh then great! A man in pink entered the lobby.
Boom! It was David Coulthard!
Hoho.
Aah then i panicked. Hm, uh, not really. Only after my mum persuaded me to get his autograph, then i dared to ask him. Because i didn't have enought guts to ask him.
So i got his autograph, but not his picture.
Still good, still good. :)

Dear you
I think i cared too much about meeting drivers that i started to hallucinate and subconsciously distort others' faces so that they'd look like some drivers.
At the pool party, i thought i saw Felipe Massa, then i think Kimi Raikonnen. After that, Nico Rosberg at the other end of the pool. Then i walked the lap of the pool and back and i thought there was Fernando Alonso.
BUT of course i was just 'hallucinating',Pity, huh.
However, i think i saw a driver. He's a new one, i didn't recognise him at first, he could be from Toro Rosso. Hm hm.

Singapore: Driver Preview quotes;
Nico Rosberg, Williams-Toyota:
“It was a great weekend last year, I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was just fantastic and the fact that it was a night race worked really well. The actual track was good fun to drive and a real challenge. The toughest thing about Singapore is the heat and the number of corners. There are 23, so there's never an opportunity to relax. The circuit is challenging, but it's a high downforce track which suits our car, so I'm hoping that we will have a better result there than we had in Monza.”
Kazuki Nakajima, Williams-Toyota:
“The whole event is great and this is one of my favourite trips of the year. The circuit is very challenging, the location is really glamorous, as Formula One should be, and it's an interesting place to visit. I don't tend to go out much over a race weekend, but last year I went out for a few nice dinners and hope to do the same this year. Singapore is a very technical track because of all the different elements you have to contend with. It's a night race so you have to make sure you are accustomed to the different light; it's a street circuit so it's quite slippery at the start of the weekend; it has few run-off areas and minimal overtaking opportunities. It is also really bumpy, particularly between turns 5 and 7. Combined with the high temperatures and humidity, it's going to be a very challenging race for the drivers and the cars. Because of the number of low speed corners, it is a very high downforce circuit, but that is good for us as our car works well on this kind of track.”FIA Thursday press conference;Q:
Nico, Monza was a bit of a nightmare for you. First time I think you have been out of the points for quite some time. What are your feelings about this place?NR:
I mean both Spa and Monza were very difficult. At Spa we were lucky in the middle sector that we could be competitive, so that helped us in general, but we didn't really deserve points there either. Then Monza was a complete disaster to be honest. I am looking forward to this one as it is back to the car with the aerodynamics that we had used in Valencia where we were running fifth and were very competitive in the race. They have worked on that a lot over the last couple of weeks and we have a good upgrade for this race. I am pretty confident that we are going to be up there again and really battling for some good points which is where I prefer to be obviously.Q:
You were second here last year. You were on the podium and hoping for the same again. Is that possible?NR:
I think the podium is possible this year for sure. We need to be a bit lucky to get there. I think in pure pace we can be in the top six or top five, but if we are a bit lucky we can finish in the top three which would be a great result again for us, similar to last year.Q:
Is it a bit of a frustration that you are knocking on the door of the podium all the time?NR:
A little bit but that's not that important I guess. What counts is your championship position and we are in quite a good position at the moment being sixth. It is not going to be easy to hold on to that to the end of the year but I will do my best. A podium would be nice. It would be great to have one at least this year, maybe even two, we will see in the last few races. I am sure there will be one or two opportunities.Q:
Nico, there have been words attributed to you over the last week saying that you're now looking at Brawn or McLaren for next year. Just wondering on your thoughts if you were to partner Lewis next year – you're obviously good friends for a long time. And Lewis, your thoughts on potentially having Nico as a team-mate next year?NR:
I was team-mates with Lewis in go-karts. We had a great time at the time, so I would enjoy being team-mates with Lewis again in the future.LH:
I know that a lot's been said, I don't know what's going to happen, but obviously we've got a great relationship. At the moment I'm very happy with how things are in the team but we have to see what happens.NR: That didn't sound all too positive from Lewis. He isn't too excited...

It's a pity i can't get a chance to meet Nico Rosberg in person. But mum even saw him at the poolside. :S
And there might not be another year to meet him, because he might join another team then in 2010, which'll mean that he wouldn't stay in the same hotel as he is currently, right? Hm hm probably...
Ooh and i saw Jarno Trulli on Wednesday, at a Panasonic roadshow. I managed to get some presentable photos and his autograph! Kimi Räikkönen and Giancarlo Fisichella were supposed to be there the next day, but i had classes, so i couldn't get to see them. :(
Anyway, i'm starting to like Kimi! ;D

Dear you
Kazuki Nakajima's coming today!
Nico Rosberg's coming on the 22nd!
I'm so going to fetch Nico at the airport; i have the
very exact details, but i don't have the details of Kazuki's arrival, so i cannot pick him up. ):
Got forced to spend $30 in a single receipt yesterday, because i wanted to ride on the race simulator. The fastest in that day could walk away with something... i don't know the prize but i bet it'll be a nice one. Guess what position i got? I got second with a timing of 02:04 minutes around the Singapore race track! It was depressing because only the first could get the prize. ):
And at another mall, the first ten people to sign up for a drive on another race simulator could race and the first would get a Ferrari cap and some vouchers worth $150 while the 9 consolations could get a Ferrari model car. I was at the counter wanting to write my name and there was the tenth and last person writing down his name. So close! Huh.
So, i'm going back there today to get my hands on the prize!
Oh but i received a freebie yesterday; a Bridgestone cap. Hoho. It's really nice, even the emcee said "wow", but seeing the cap reminds me of Ferrari, it's red and yellow.
Oh shucks i just saw this on the web!
"Will
Kazuki Nakajima and
Nico Rosberg still be in the
Williams F1 cockpit in 2010?
NoNakajima will be going to the
Toyota team for 2010 but the
Williams garage will have
Robert Kubica on board, a good move I think.
Rosberg will be joining the
McLaren pit alongside
Lewis Hamilton, with the
Williams team rumoured to be thinking of giving their test driver
Nico Hulkenberg a shot in the second seat."
Aah, at first i thought Nico Hulkenberg was a test driver for Williams, then i saw him in GP2 in another group...
._.
Well i guess this arrangement is
alright, i got a scare because i thought Nico Rosberg would disappear out of F1. Hm, maybe i'll clarify with the man himself. Hehheh. ;D

Dear you
Old New
I watched the Italian Grand Prix at Robertson Walk yesterday! I like Robertson Walk, it's near River Valley and it's a very nice place! I want to work part-time there next time!
But a disappointing performance from Nico Rosberg at yesterday's GP! It's okay, however, because he'll trash everyone in Singapore like he did last year! Hahhah. Around two more weeks before he arrives! I cannot believe it! :D

Dear you
I met dad yesterday night, he gave me a new phone.
I was glad to see dad, i haven't seen him in a long time.
The first thing dad did upon seeing me was exclaiming that I had grown. And dad seems thinner, i think he's thinner than me now!
All was well at first, i was happy that i had a new phone, because i've had my old one for about more than a year, plus the screen was spoilt.
Until dad told me to return home, while walking back to my flat, i suddenly felt very sad.
Overwhelmed with sadness.
I felt tears welling up in my eyes, and i thought, "no, i can't cry."
But i couldn't hold back, then my tears ran.
Because it was the first time in months that i'm seeing dad, and our meeting was even lesser than half an hour.
I really missed dad, i kept thinking that. I wanted to tell him, but i couldn't bring myself to, i don't know why. Then dad hugged me and told me not to cry, because doing so would make him sad. That just made me cry harder and hold on to dad tighter.
And my sister dosen't even want to see dad, she thinks he's annoying, because he calls ONCE A WEEK.
Stupid. Heartless. Cretinous. Ungrateful.
I mean my sister.
